Formatting
# Formatting
Our formatting rules are implemented and usually automatically enforced by eslint. With the default project setup, eslint --fix . is executed on each file save and should fix things like incorrect spacing/indentation.
However things like incorrect variable naming formats can’t be automatically fixed so for these sorts of issues expect a yellow/red squiggly line to appear under the text. Red text will fail the lint check while yellow will produce a warning, but will not fail - it is still strongly recommended to take care of these immediately.
# General Guidelines
- Tab-width: 4 spaces
- Bracket-style: Allman
- Quotes: Double
- Unused variables should be prefixed with an underscore if they are meant to be unused
# Safety Conventions
There are other, more important safety-related conventions, that help reduce crashes that would otherwise occur - for the end user. Read these at Safety Conventions.
